In International trade, fumigation (disinfection) is essential for wood packaging export. It is a compulsory measure to prevent harmful diseases and insect pests from harming forest resources in importing countries. Therefore, we must treat the export goods containing wood packaging before shipment.
The reason why do artificial trellis need fumigation is that it contains the willow – a real wood plant and hence the process of disinfection is necessary.
